چکیده
2014 Femtosecond optical techniques allowing the generation of intense optical pulses from the near ultraviolet to the near infrared are used in the monitoring of ultrafast photophysical and photochemical reactions in aqueous solutions. Selected examples for dynamics of electron solvation in water and aqueous solution of ferrocyanide are discussed. Revue Phys. Appl. 22 (1987) -1759 DÉCEMBRE 1987, PAGE 1755

Femtosecond transient absorption, Raman, and electrochemistry studies of tetrasulfonated copper phthalocyanine in water solutions.
Ultrafast time-resolved electronic spectra of the primary events induced in the copper tetrasulfonated phthalocyanine Cu(tsPc)4-) in aqueous solution has been measured by femtosecond pump-probe transient absorption spectroscopy. The primary events initiated by the absorption of a photon occurring within the femtosecond time scale are discussed on the basis of the electron transfer mechanism bet...
متن کاملApplication of Electron Beam/MnII Process for Humic Acid Removal from Aqueous Solutions
Introduction: Natural organic matters (NOMs) existing in water resources led to various problems such as formation of disinfectant by-products (DBPs). Humic matters like humic acid (HA) are component of NOMs that should be removed from water. Advanced oxidation process (AOPs) is one of the NOMs removal methods. The aim of this study was to survey the degradation of humic acid by electron beam i...
متن کاملReactivity of prehydrated electrons toward nucleobases and nucleotides in aqueous solution
DNA damage induced via dissociative attachment by low-energy electrons (0 to 20 eV) is well studied in both gas and condensed phases. However, the reactivity of ultrashort-lived prehydrated electrons ([Formula: see text]) with DNA components in a biologically relevant environment has not been fully explored to date. The electron transfer processes of [Formula: see text] to the DNA nucleobases G...

Introduction: Humic acids have adverse effects on the water quality, then should be removed from water resources. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of nitrate as a radical scavenger for removal of humic acid from aqueous solutions by electron beam irradiation. Materials and Methods: In this study, after preparation of stock humic acid solution in alkaline condition, different con...
متن کاملNitrate Removal from Aqueous Solutions using Green and Biodegradable Zerovalent Iron Nanoparticles
Background and objectives: Zerovalent iron nanoparticles (ZVIN) had high potential for nitrate removal from aqueous solutions due to high surface area and reactivity of them. The aim of this study was nitrate removal from aqueous solutions using environmentally friendly stabilized ZVIN. Methods: ZVIN were synthesized via chemical reduction by sodium borohydride. In order to preventing of ZVIN f...
